System Maintenance

Part of the success of Viridian Systems Ltd. is based on our after-sales service. To achieve optimum performance of pneumatic borehole pumps we recommend regular service and maintenance by our skilled pump technicians. We provide a full national maintenance service for all makes of pneumatic borehole pump.

The service interval is very much site specific and depends upon the leachate quality, suspended solids in the leachate and the pumping rate i.e. if a pump is discharging constantly at high rates, it will wear parts at a faster rate. In general, pumps require 6-monthly servicing.

We have a dedicated service facility for the pumps. A typical maintenance schedule is as follows:

Pump Maintenance and Service Schedule

• Remove pump from Leachate well, strip down, service and replace all worn parts every six months.
• Record and report depth of pumps and leachate levels.
• Replace wellhead fittings if required.
• Check counter, pressure regulator and filter, record and report flow counter readings.
• Check and replace down-well fittings and pipework if required.
• Check air and Leachate pipework for leaking fittings.
• We can if required provide photographic reports of pumps and pipework on site.
• 48 hour call out available on request.
