Knock Out Pot De-Silting
Silt Pro ІІ
Silt-Pro ІІ is designed to automatically de-silt landfill gas knockout pots with minimal equipment. A knockout Pot can generally be de-silted whilst the system is live, thus avoiding costly downtime.
Silt-Pro II simultaneously lifts silt, keeping it in suspension and re-circulates the water in the kop via a filter which collects the silt as it is pumped out, the silt-free water is then returned back to the KOP, thus the water-seal is retained.
The filter bag should be checked regularly and replaced as necessary. The Silt-Pro II is very portable, easy to install and requires minimal attendance during de-silting operations. The Silt-Pro II utilises the existing compressed air supply.
